Back in May, Tesco Ireland successfully communicated the amount of jobs created, the money raised for Temple St. and
the number of meals donated to Food Cloud. This time we wanted to communicate how Tesco helps these communities in a human way, by focusing on bringing to life the individual stories of the people that Tesco are supporting. To achieve that we deep dived into one particular case study and we showed how their life changed with the help of Tesco. We created then a 1-minute beautiful, intimate and powerful film with this one person, who became the face of the whole campaign – baby Rio.
This was a project that we shot, edited and delivered in 3 weeks. In the end, we had 32 outputs, and with many different formats.
Also, the client liked so much the campaign that they wanted to bring attention to 2 more stories. So we also met Harry, another sick child who is now thriving with the help of Temple Street. And the Muslim Sisters of Eire, which is an independent organisation that provides bags of food to people in need, and they are also doing great charity work with the help of Tesco.
